About the Role: We are looking for a Tender Manager to join our NAP Market Access Team. In this role, you will focus on 12 provinces (Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Hei long jiang, Liaoning, Jilin, Shanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Nei Meng Gu, Xingjiang) ;This associate will proactively coordinate, prepare, and administer the tendering processes and assist in managing of the tender cycle. Externally, this associate will work closely with the various tender and reimbursement offices across China. Internally, this associate will work closely with the tender administrative associates in submission of the tenders in China. This associate will help to coordinate the tender activities with various functions, eg Sales Leaders, Sales Associates, Operations, and will work on projects to improve the quality of our business processes leading to a better efficiency and enhanced quality of our tender, and reimbursement processes. 

This role will be located at our facility in Beijing, China. 

Responsibilities:
  • Assist China sales team in understanding policies and assessing impact relating to Central and Provincial Government Tenders and Reimbursement
  • Focus on the VBP situation and trends within the region
  • Focus on the Medical insurance payment reform policy
  • Involve in developing strategies in view of policies changes
  • Project manage the tender cycle though coordination with various stakeholders by providing tracking, updates and developing KPI to measure and continuously improve the tender cycle process
  • Assist in developing the Tender Support Team to provide sustainability in view of policies and system changes

Required Qualifications: 

  • Extensive experience in working with contracts and/or Public Tender process, and experience working with Chinese Tender and Reimbursement offices 
  • Experience in drafting contract-related documents and identifying circumstances unique to specific contracting situations, and experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented person, and at the same time able to stay focused on the broader goals and objectives
  • Proven competence to achieve results accurately and within required time frames
  • Ability to read, understand and work with complex contracts and contract principles
  • Ability to derive hypothetical risk scenarios from proposed business transactions; ability to negotiate on behalf of company verbally and in written communication
  • Ability to be able to build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Ability to function independently and in a self-directed manner and take initiatives and judge situations effectively, while at the same time within a highly cooperative team environment
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
