About the Role: We are looking for a SAP S/4 HANA Sales & Distribution Expert (f/m/d) to join our SAP Center of Excellence. In this role you will be part of the OTC Team within the SAP Center of Excellence.
This is a remote position, and you can work from your home office in most locations within various European countries (Spain, UK, Italy, Germany).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal clients (associates) to gather business requirements in the area of Order to Cash and propose the best SAP solution as per industry best practices
- Design, configure, and implement the SAP S/4 HANA Sales & Distribution module using the SAP Activate methodology
- Leverage your hands on configuration knowledge to upskill others and teach standard , out of the box functionality to other team members
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance as part of an SAP CoE team, addressing issues, performing system updates, and ensuring system stability
- Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate the functionality and performance of the solution
- Stay updated with the latest SAP releases, enhancements, and best practices to continuously improve SAP solutions and provide recommendations to clients
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years working experience with SAP software
- Proven experience as an SAP S/4 HANA functional expert or consultant, specifically in sales and distribution and ideally in materials management
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of SAP Activate methodology and its application in implementing SAP solutions
- Strong understanding of business processes within the areas of sales and distribution and ideally materials management
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing the SAP S/4 HANA SD module, including master data setup, sales order processing, availability check, pricing, billing, credit check etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within SAP Sales& Distribution and adjacent areas
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations
- Ability to debug/ analyze issue when needed and provide a solution approach
- Ability to travel 10%
Desired Qualifications:
- Industry knowledge in one or more of the following areas and their footprint in SAP: Discrete manufacturing, Consumer goods, Medical Devices, Chemicals
- Experience in large scale, complex SAP S/4 HANA implementations and sustainment (multi region, multi industry)
- SAP certification in relevant modules, such as SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), is highly desirable
