About the Role: We are looking for a Regional Strategic Marketer to join our North Asia Pacific regional marketing team in Shanghai. In this role, you will contribute as a member of the regional vascular marketing team through your subject matter expertise for the assigned disease state markets, partner with regional sales leadership and regional product specialist to be responsible for both upstream and commercial marketing activity in North Asia Pacific.

This role will be located at our facility in Shanghai, China.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive North Asia Pacific TIPS market and customer assessment and uncover insights and trends to inform global upstream and regional marketing strategies and strategic reviews
  • Develop and integrate the regional market landscape and inform product decisions with regional market insight to ensure commercial viability – needs, attribute priorities, pricing, etc.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing to create clear, concise, and compelling market positioning and messaging aligned with our product concepts, inclusive of economic value claims
  • Develop insights into segmentation, targeting, positioning, launching, messaging through careful analysis of the customer landscape
  • Develop and execute North Asia Pacific commercial marketing plans in partnership with Sales, Product Specialists, Marketing Services, and Supporting Functions for portfolio of commercialized products and new products in the assigned disease state
  • Build the Gore brand through product(s) branding initiatives
  • Champion launch readiness in the region
  • Develop and lead customer facing event and promotion through effective collaboration on an integrated communication plan with Marketing Communication and Event Management and understand compliance and regional regulatory constraints and nuances
  • Develop and execute the customer engagement plan for the region in collaboration with Regional Sales Leadership, and develop advocacy with through leader and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Forecast and monitor marketing investments and track, evaluate and report on ROI

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in clinical, medicine, marketing, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic marketing or Product Management roles, essential knowledge of implantable medical device
  • Proven experience in developing and executing commercial strategic plans to capitalize on revenue generating opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (English) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success influencing and integrating within and across teams and functions to execute against strategic plans
  • Demonstrated ability to drive regional market assessments and uncover market insights and trends
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with the sales organization and business partners to drive profitable growth
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clinical customers, in particular key physician thought leaders, and track record of successful execution of face to face and virtual customer events
  • High ethical standards and respect of compliance
  • Ability to travel overnight (up to 50%)

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Prior experience in the Gastroenterology or Oncology or Vascular category or Vascular Intervention
  • Experience in measuring ROI for marketing investments
