About the Role: We are looking for a Marketing & Sales Assistant Temp (100%) to join our Technically Oriented Fabrics Team in Seoul, South Korea. In this role, you will support, develop and execute marketing and communications projects across several product categories and media ensure a consistent and winning presentation of existing and new technologies in the Korean Defense, Public Safety and Workwear markets.  This is a temporary contract for 12 months.

This role will be located at our facility in Seoul, South Korea.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of various marketing events and activities for Technical Oriented Fabrics Business team in Korea such as the exhibition, trade shows, customer workshops, forum and product launch by close cooperation with field sales, application engineers, product specialist and inside sales team
  • Develop and conduct the requested marketing communication projects including online & offline advertisements, webinars, and marketing & sales tools by working with TOF cross BU teams (e.g. Print & digital Ads, Collaterals, brochure, leaflet, video, logo merchandise &etc)
  • Provide translations/proofreading to localize or create a Korea market optimized content and tools for the use of various marketing & sales projects, exhibitions, or activities in Korea
  • Support field sales and key customers by providing a proper guide on Brand /OPB (On Product Brand) with the related source of assets for the successful customer collaboration programs and the proper use of GORE-TEX brand that will increase awareness and relevance of GORE-TEX and Gore branded technologies in our customer’s communication channel or medias
  • Manage external marketing agencies or suppliers to conduct successful projects to meet defined business and brand objectives on time and on budget
  • Support for the yearly marcom investment planning, budget execution and payment by working with related internal & external stakeholders
  • Provide any other marketing & sales administrative supports upon team requests (e.g. Payment process, post event analysis, sample & storage management and others)

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of sales & marketing communication
  • Experience in a commercial, technical-oriented and innovation-driven environment
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively work across businesses and functions to work on a number of projects in parallel, across different business categories, teams and customers
  • Excellent command of English and Korean (written and verbal communication)
  • Strong customer and service orientation with flexibility to work with diverse in/external stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize, and work independently to conduct various project in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel up to 15% is required
