About the Role: We are looking for an EMEA Energy Manager (f/m/d) to join our Facilities Services Team in this key role, you will drive energy management and carbon reduction efforts in the EMEA region. You will partner with internal stakeholders to provide cost effective energy supply and to comply with relevant regulations.
This position will be located at our facility in Putzbrunn near Munich, Germany.
- Be responsible for a long-term ecological, economical, and compliant energy supply in our facilities in Germany and UK
- Coordinate and support regulatory driven energy audits and initiate the implementation of the learning from the audits
- Support the development and execute the EMEA Energy & Carbon Reduction Strategy and Plan
- Partner with local and regional leadership as well as corporate and divisional functions to align goals, initiate key projects and champion projects where appropriate
- Provide technological excellence guidance and support in energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy purchasing and energy-related legal requirements
- Establish an Energy-Data-Management-System in all sites
- Partner with the global Facility Services, Carbon Reduction and EOSH Management teams
- Keep a finger on the pulse of industry best practices and trends, introducing new best practices or technology, and exchange opportunities for improvement in internal and external networks
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Energy Management, Energy Technology, Supply Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or comparable
- Minimum 5 years’ working experience in energy management or energy technology
- Minimum 5 years’ experience developing and executing demanding projects including appropriate communications to stakeholders
- Mature judgement and experience working on complex topics
- Demonstrated skills in influencing others and building collaborative and productive working relationships across functions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English
- Ability to effectively lead virtual or dispersed project teams and motivate others in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Willingness to travel up to 10 %

Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
